Ombudsperson

Ombuds person

Career Point University is committed to maintaining a fair, transparent, and inclusive academic environment. In accordance with UGC guidelines, the University has established the office of the Ombudsperson as an independent and impartial authority to address grievances that remain unresolved through existing institutional mechanisms. The Ombudsperson provides a confidential platform for students, faculty, and staff to raise concerns related to academic matters, administrative decisions, harassment, discrimination, or misuse of authority. The office facilitates fair review, mediation, and recommends appropriate corrective measures while ensuring adherence to the principles of natural justice, impartiality, and timeliness.

Any member of the University community may approach the Ombudsperson after exhausting internal grievance redressal mechanisms or when an unbiased review is required. Complaints must be submitted in writing with relevant details and supporting documents. This mechanism strengthens institutional accountability, promotes ethical conduct, and reinforces trust by ensuring a safe, respectful, and responsive campus environment at Career Point University.
